Young Swans defeated in season opener

The 1st half kicks off and the Barton boys are working hard to keep simple football.

We had some breaks but didn’t hit many chances. Once App Frod scored early, our heads went down. 3-0  down at half time.

Changes were made for second half with Sam Elia pushed up. The 1-2 passing tactic was used as we tried to move the ball.

Barton did some good defending at times but we were against a very good side that played a year up last season.

It was the first game of the season and we knew it would be a hard game. We go again next week on a positive note.

To sum the game up the Barton lads battled to the end of a 9-0 loss.
