Ben Hinchliffe Signs For The Swans
10th June 2019Barton Town are delighted to welcome Ben Hinchliffe to the Easy Buy Stadium for the 2019/20 season.
The 21 year old is a former Hull City Academy player who joins up with Dave Ricardo’s squad for the coming season.
Ben is a forward whose best position is as a striker, but can also operate on the wing. He also played for Hull City’s senior side in an EFL Cup game against Doncaster, and now he joins the Swans to spearhead our attack.
Dave Ricardo is glad to finally get his man: “Ben is someone that I have near enough walked over hot coals to try and get in for over a year now but he will be worth the wait.
“He comes with a fantastic reputation and pedigree and will be a superb assist to the club and bring pace and quality to our front line. I can see James and Ben working really well together on the training ground and it’s up to ourselves to create an environment that gives Ben the chance to flourish.”
Ben is the third signing for the new season after Reece Moody and Louis Kirk were confirmed this weekend.
