Barton Town are delighted to announce the signings of experienced players Luke Foster and Chris Salt.

The pair signed this week and go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Staveley Miners Welfare.

Foster, 34, was previously with step four club Loughborough Dynamo and has an array of professional clubs on his CV, including the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Oxford United, Stevenage and Mansfield Town to name a few.

Salt, 25, made his name at Gainsborough Trinity and is an ex-Sheffield United youth player. He’s also played for the likes of Worksop, Buxton, Stamford AFC and was most recently with Matlock Town.

Manager Craig Denton was happy to get the pair in: “I’m really pleased to have been able to get both Chris and Luke over the line and become Barton Town players. Both have vast amounts of experience and it will add lots of quality to the group. Both will play a key role in moving this great club forward. I’m absolutely over the moon with these additions.”

We’re happy to welcome both players to the squad and are keen to see how they get on in Barton Town shirts.
