Swans Sign Jack Richardson
6th December 2019Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Richardson on a dual registration basis from Cleethorpes Town.
The midfielder joins the Swans to add some vital experience to the side. While at Cleethorpes Jack has made 171 appearances and scored 15 goals over the last seven seasons. He also came on as a substitute in the 2017 FA Vase Final at Wembley for Cleethorpes.
He is well acquainted with a few members of the Swans squad, including Marc Cooper, Peter Winn and Craig Disley, having played alongside them with the Owls.
Swans boss Craig Denton said: “Huge addition for us, Jack comes with a wealth of experience and will certainly add quality to our group. I want to bring experienced and well-established players to Barton and this addition certainly confirms our intention to kick on this season. I’d personally like to thank Dave and Cleethorpes Town who have been great and been really efficient in getting this sorted for us.”
Cleethorpes announced the news this week that Jack would be joining us, and now following registration procedures, we are proud to announce him as a Swan!
