An Update From The Gaffer

23rd April 2020 Off By bartontown

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to our amazing NHS and all our key workers. I hope everyone is keeping themselves safe and at home.

In these unprecedented times, we really don’t know when all this will come to a stop. When we can resume our day to day lives and some form of normality.

Everyone wants things back to normal and it’s frustrating times for many. I wanted to give the Barton Town fans a little insight into what’s been happening in terms of preparation for next season.

Lot of recruitment, talking to current Swans players and potential new signings have taken place. It has been very successful and exciting to have been able to plan and have those conversations with players and we will have to wait until pre-season to have further conversations with players and hopefully get those signatures on the registration forms.

I’m trying really hard to keep this group together, so don’t expect huge changes. However expect a handful of players committing to us next season who will give us that additional push and make us stronger.

I truly believe that we can go from strength to strength and improve our squad and be challenging at the top end of the table.

Please keep safe and stay at home.

Up The Swans,

Craig
