ICYMI: Swans announce double signing
2nd July 2020Last night the Swans confirmed the signings of Matt Plummer and Chaz Fisher as the first two players for the 2020/21 season.
Matt is a centre half who is entering his third season with the club. He has made 64 appearances for the Swans, scoring eight goals. Also a more than able right back, Matt is a former ex-Hull City professional who brings a sense of calm to the back.
Chaz is a new signing to the club, the 29 year old can play centre half and is an ex-pro. He was signed up by Doncaster Rovers and has played for various clubs in the area including Brigg Town and Winterton Rangers.
Swans boss Rob Watson said: “It’s great to work with Chaz again after having him at Winterton. He’s an ex-Doncaster pro and is vastly experienced at this level.”
We’d like to welcome Matt back to the club and welcome Chaz to Barton Town. More signings will be announced over the coming days.
