Barton Town are delighted to announce that Josh Lacey has decided to remain at the club for the 2021/22 season.

A Barton lad, Josh is a popular figure at the club and the Swans are delighted he has chosen to return with us for the new season.

A full back with a penchant for attacking, Josh is a force down the flank, and has played much higher up in the past. His former clubs include Scarborough Athletic, Cleethorpes Town, and Gainsborough Trinity, where he is still held in high regard today.

Josh can play anywhere in the backline, and that versatility will be a real strength for the Swans going forward.

Josh Lacey: “It’s great to be re-signing! I feel Barton Town is ready to progress and as a Barton lad I want to be involved in and help the club reach the success that is to come! Up the Swans.”

Nathan Jarman: “A player I know really well from our time at Gainsborough. He’s an excellent defender with a great pedigree, Josh with be a cornerstone of our team. One of the nicest blokes off the pitch but a fierce competitor on it.”

Welcome back to the Swans Josh!
