The Swans’ final home game of the season could see Barton Town into the NCEL League Cup final for the first time. We welcome Staveley Miners Welfare to the Easy Buy Stadium looking to advance from the semi finals.

This will be the fourth meeting between the sides this season. Twice in the league and twice in cup competitions. The Swans knocked Staveley out of the FA Vase on penalties in September. In the league meetings the Swans drew away and won at home.

Form

The Swans are in good form, winning three of their last five, along with a draw and a loss. Staveley have the same record over the last five games.

Who to Watch?

Staveley have a whole squad of players who need attention. The man in form is striker Declan Howe, he’s scored 28 goals in all competitions. Should Howe misfire Jacob Pearce is capable of picking up the pieces. Midfielder Tomas Poole is also a player to watch.

Team News

There’s no fresh injury concerns ahead of the semi final. Jamie Goddard should be available again having missed last week’s win over Albion Sports. Only Curtis Bateson remains out having had his season cut short by injury at Knaresborough.
