Charlie Dixon returned in goal replacing Tom Nicholson, with Ben Hinchliffe and Tom Waudby missing.

Despite the depleted attack, the Swans took the lead. A corner was swung in which was headed back across goal by Taron Hare. The ball fell to Coley who slotted in his first of the season to put the Swans ahead.

Eccleshill then forced a good save out of Dixon when some neat one-touch play in the area resulted in Emmerson Cox taking a shot at goal. Dixon was on hand to parry it out for a corner.

A few half chances for Eccleshill came to nothing with Will Waudby putting an effort just over. Waudby then turned provider as he set up Coley inside the area. A firm but fair tackle denying the Swans striker.

Henry Cook was then dispossessed by Fernando Moke in a dangerous position. The Eccleshill striker was one on one but Dixon pulled off an excellent save with his feet to keep the visitors out.

Some excellent pressing from Josh Lacey soon before the break allowed Baker to tee up Dan Trott. He ran in and rounded the goalkeeper to double the Swans’ lead just before half time.

Into the second half and Trott almost added to his tally when Cook played an excellent through ball. Trott ran onto it but his right footed shot went just wide of the post.

The Swans defended well and were clinical in chasing down out of possession. A comfortable win and the perfect way to bounce back from the FA Cup exit in midweek.
