Academy Preview – 17-18 September

After the postponements last week following the death of Her Majesty the Queen, football returns this weekend for the Swans Academy sides. All of our youth sides are in action across both days.

Our Under 8’s kick off this weekend’s action as they have their latest league game, taking on Barton United at Baysgarth School on Saturday morning. A 10am kick off for Paul Roberts’ young Swans side.

Our Under 10’s side are also in action on Saturday morning, with Dale Heseltine’s team hosting Barton Juniors in an all-Barton derby game. Kick off is at 11am at Baysgarth School.

On Sunday, Simon Burnett’s Development Squad kick off their league campaign with an away trip to Cleethorpes Town Under 18’s. This will be played at the Linden Homes Sports Club with kick off coming at 10:45am.

Our Under 16’s, managed by Sean Money, are looking to put their opening day defeat behind them as they welcome Crowle Colts Under 16’s to Barton with kick off coming at 10:30am.

Sunday afternoon sees Barton Town Under 9’s in a League Cup knockout competition at the Bradley Development Centre in Grimsby with a 2:30pm start.
