Barton Town are delighted to welcome Harry Burnett-Haynes to the club. He is the latest reserves signing and joins the Swans from Appleby Frodingham.

Harry is an accomplished striker, and Swans fans have already seen him at his best, having scored a hat-trick in our recent 4-4 draw with Appleby Frodingham.

He’s scored four goals in nine appearances so far for App Frod, and is the type of player the Reserves need.

Reserves boss Stef Wolkowski commented on the signing: “We are absolutely over the moon to have Harry with us. A player that has really grown over the last few years and we moved for instantly when we knew of his availability.

“When you see a player score a hat-trick against yourself it makes you want that in your side. We are a team that needs goals, but a player that scores and also causes constant problems for the opposition. He is that and he is a real decent lad with the ambition to progress. We are lucky to have him and can’t wait to see him in the sky blue.”

Harry is cup-tied for this weekend’s County Junior Cup game at Tetney Rovers, but will be in the squad for the next league game at Cleethorpes Town Reserves in two weeks.

Welcome to Barton Town, Harry!
