Grant Tait returns home to the Swans

Barton Town are delighted to announce the return of Grant Tait after 10 months in Australia. The midfielder is back in the country and returns to the club.

The popular player returns to Nathan Jarman’s side having left in January to join Adelaide Croatia Raiders, where he won awards at the end of season presentation.

Known as a tireless player with a penchant for wondergoals, Grant’s return bolsters the Swans as we head in to the business end of the season. Grant’s made 43 appearances for the club, with two goals. Both memorable, the first coming against Spalding United in the FA Cup, a beautiful volley from 40 yards out. The second a wonderstrike from 30 yards out in the pouring rain against Staveley to rescue a point.

Having been granted international clearance, Grant goes straight into the squad for next week’s away game at Albion Sports.
