Swans sign Brett Agnew
31st December 2022Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of prolific striker Brett Agnew from Hallam.
A popular figure, Brett is an accomplished goalscorer at this level of football and above. His former clubs include Hull United, Bridlington Town, North Ferriby, Tadcaster Albion and Hallam.
Utilised best as a target man, Brett can win headers and hold the ball up well. His attributes mean he should fit in well with the football Swans boss Nathan Jarman wants us to play.
The striker joins the club and bolsters our attacking options, as well as being an experienced head to have in the dressing room.
The Scotsman has scored ten goals for Hallam this season, including one against the Swans in our 2-1 loss to the Countrymen in December.
A tenacious player who knows how to score goals. Brett isn’t afraid to get stuck in and fight for every ball.
Subject to NCEL clearance, Brett goes into the squad to face Silsden on January 2.
