Harrison Coley scored in the dying seconds of the game to seal a last-gasp win for ten-man Barton Town.

Tom Waudby’s 15th goal of the season gave the Swans the lead in the first half, before Waudby got himself sent off early in the second half. Just as Barton looked to have sealed the win an excellent goal from Robbie Fox brought Albion level. Only for 90 seconds however as a composed finish from Coley secured the win for the Swans.

It was an even opening ten minutes, with neither side taking control of the game. Scott Matthews was booked in the first few minutes to make his game a little tougher.

Ablion goalkeeper George McMahon was forced into an excellent save to deny Will Waudby’s overhead kick. From the resulting corner Albion broke clear with Jordan Spencer receiving the ball but putting it just wide.

The chances continued to be exchanged, Fraser Papprill and Aran Basi heading over from corners.

It took until the 36th minute for the Swans to take the lead. A corner came in from Matthews, and the ball was headed towards goal. It looked to have already crossed the line before being cleared. However Tom Waudby made sure by firing the ball in to the back of the net for his 15th Swans goal of the season.

The Swans were ahead at the break, but soon after it Barton were down to ten men. A rash challenge from Tom Waudby saw the referee show him a straight red card. No complaints from the Swans bench or Waudby himself.

Soon after the hour mark though the hosts had a man sent off, Jahro Parchment receiving his second yellow card to even it up at ten apiece.

The Swans were looking for a second goal to kill off the game, with Hinchliffe doing plenty of work up front to try and add to the advantage but to no avail.

Henry Parr and Danny North were introduced in place of Sam Cable and Hinchliffe, but Albion were starting to turn the screw in their hunt for an equalizer.

Ryan Musselwhite was forced into a fantastic save to deny Albion before Josh Lacey’s last-ditch tackle denied a certain goal.

Tom Davie was brought on for Will Waudby and seconds later the hosts were level.Deep into stoppage time some beautiful one-touch football played in Robbie Fox on the right hand side. He lashed his shot low past Musselwhite to put Albion level.

The goal seemed to galvanise the Swans however, as a long throw from Lacey was played to Papprill on the edge. He played it to Nathan Hotte who crossed it in. McMahon punched it clear denying Davie. The ball fell to Coley, whose neat turn and low shot saw the ball roll into the bottom corner for the winner with virtually the last kick of the game.

A big three points for the Swans going into the derby games with Winterton and Bottesford coming up.
