Our little Swan army travelled to Grimsby Borough for an early kick off on Sunday. Every single player worked their socks off and grafted from first to final whistle.

The players are learning game management along with ball mastery and positioning. Today they showed how to manage a game through to the end, we looked comfortable on a poor playing surface, but was still able to get the ball down and play proper football. Incredibly proud of all the players in the squad, it takes a lot of character, grit and determination to get the outcome they deserved in this match.

Some really top performances today, our Skipper Jac, caused problems all through the 1st half and got us off to the best possible start. Buddy looked solid in the middle and started to feed some nice balls through, Kian work rate through out was phenomenal he  just doesn’t stop like a little Jack Russel, and just nearly we had another of those free kicks inch over the bar. Reggie came on and made a difference on the left side, his vision for a pass is brilliant.

But finally our MoM today went to Seb Eggleton, grafted and grafted at the back, some fantastic tracking back to protect Tommy in goal. Seb’s had a fab game today and really starting to relax on the ball and pick those passes forward. Well done Sebby.
