The Swans Academy announce Keyo Agricultural Services as title sponsor
9th June 2023Barton Town Football Club are delighted to announce that Keyo Agricultural Services are the new title sponsor of the club’s Academy setup.
Already a sponsor of the Swans with a pitchside board at the Easy Buy Stadium, Keyo have upgraded their support with us and will now head the Academy’s sponsorship structure. Their logo will be on all correspondence in regards to the Academy, and we are so thankful for their kind support.
Paul Roberts, Head of Youth Academy, spoke ahead of the Academy’s official launch last night: “Tonight is the night the dream finally becomes a reality, 12 months in the planning to get us to this point. The purpose of the Swans Academy is to nurture and develop young talent with an overall aim of creating pathways and flowing players naturally through to the adult teams. We want local boys & girls playing for Barton Town FC once they graduate out of our Academy at 16.
“This I cannot implement alone I need the very best most dedicated coaches, head coach, specialist coaches and many many other roles that people don’t ever see but they are the heartbeat that makes all this work.
“So thank you to everyone involved, player, parent, coach and everyone behind the scenes that are all part of the fantastic family we have here all working together with one common goal, development of players and creating a fun, relaxed environment where players are able to express themselves without fear of failure.
“We couldn’t also do this without sponsorship, and Josh from Keyo Agriculture has kindly agreed to sponsor the Academy as our principle sponsor. We can’t thank you enough Josh without your company’s kindness we wouldn’t be able to provide the players with the very best resources, kits and development that they deserve. Josh has also bought into our dream of where we want to take this, we don’t see this as a one off sponsorship we see this as a partnership and journey we are going to go on together. Thank you very much Keyo.”
Josh Van Den Bos, General Manager of Keyo, commented on the deal: “It’s really exciting, there’s clear ambition and a clear ladder for the kids to get on and play at a really good level. It’s a pleasure to be a part of it, we’re delighted to be part of it. As a company it’s all about giving back to the community for us, we’re based locally, and I’m excited to see where it all goes. Based on what Paul and Mark (Gregory, Chairman), have got planned, I think it’ll be really exciting.”
We’re so thankful to Keyo for supporting us on this exciting and new journey for the club. There’ll be more news on the Academy throughout the summer as we look to further strengthen the clubs within our umbrella.
