Swans retain Craig King for 2023/24 season
10th June 2023Barton Town are delighted to announce that Craig King has committed to the club for the 2023/24 season.
The classy midfielder was the players’ Player of the Year last season and will remain with the club for the forthcoming season.
Craig made 32 appearances for the Swans last season, and was deployed as either a central midfielder or a winger. When in the middle Craig was a calm and composed presence with an eye for the perfect pass.
Swans boss Nathan Jarman commented on the deal: “Myself and Northy are delighted to have Kingy commit to us this season. He was players player of the season last year for a reason, they appreciate everything he does and he’s such a top lad too. You won’t hear anyone say a bad word about him. His pedigree is top notch too. He covers a variety of positions and we are lucky to have him. It helps that I’m such good friends with him as well”
