Will Waudby returns for 2023/24 season

Barton Town are delighted to announce that Will Waudby has committed to the club for the 2023/24 season.

A fans favourite, Will is one of the longest serving players in the squad, having made 159 appearances for the Swans. Last season he made 43 appearances for the club, playing in a variety of positions including full back, centre half and his preferred position on the left wing.

Like his brother Tom, both Waudby brothers are highly regarded at the club, and Will’s return is bound to be a popular one. He was part of the famous squad which went on an unbeaten run to stave off relegation in 2017/18, as well as scoring in the final of our NCEL League Cup triumph in 2021/22.

Swans Assistant Manager Danny North commented on Will’s return: “We’re delighted to have Will back with us, he’s a player who never lets you down, will play wherever you ask him to, and always gives 100%. A great lad to have around the place.”
