Kadey Phillips promoted to first team
11th July 2023Barton Town are delighted to announce that Kadey Phillips has been promoted to the first team full time for the 2023/24 season.
Kadey is the latest Reserves player to make the step up to the first team, joining Matt Clayton in Nathan Jarman’s side for the upcoming campaign. The midfielder has earned his place having impressed in the last few games of last season when given a chance. Another local lad in the team.
He made six first team appearances last season, along with a couple of cameo appearances in the 2021/22 season. For the Reserves he played 33 games last season scoring six goals. He made a total of 49 appearances for the Reserves, scoring seven goals.
