Tom Davie returns for the 2023/24 season
11th July 2023Barton Town are delighted to announce that Tom Davie has returned for the 2023/24 season. The defender is back and bolsters our defensive ranks.
Tom is a fan favourite at the club, and one of the characters we have in our club. He’s made 65 appearances for the club over the last two seasons, and is particularly proud of his 19 yellow cards in that time.
Also a capable midfielder and has even played up front on occasion, Tom is back for another season and is hoping to help the Swans to promotion.
His former clubs include Hull City, North Ferriby United, Scarborough Athletic, and Gainsborough Trinity, but he’s made Barton Town his home over the last two years.
Tom was confident in the club’s abilities to be in the promotion hunt come the end of the season. “I’ve had two seasons at this level and just finished outside the top five both times. Top five is what I am aiming for this season, I don’t mind if we go up via play-offs or as champions.”
