Reece Moody returns to the Swans
9th February 2024Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Reece Moody from Bottesford Town.
The striker returns to the Swans following a brief stint at the club during the 2019/20 season. In that time Reece made 13 appearances, scoring four goals under Dave Ricardo. Reece has experience in the NCEL having played for Brigg Town, Hall Road Rangers, Beverley Town, and Bottesford.
Swans boss Danny North commented on the signing: “I’m absolutely delighted to get Reece in at Barton. Up front is an area I’ve been looking to strengthen, so getting him over the line is great for us. He is a clever player who doesn’t give defenders a second’s rest, and most importantly he scores goals.
“We’ve been too reliant on Tom Waudby so getting Reece in he will be able to chip in with goals and help us kick on up the table.”
Pending NCEL registration, Reece will be in the squad for tomorrow’s game at Eccleshill United. Which is of course dependent on the weather improving.
