Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Fraser Papprill from Brigg Town. The central defender joins the club to boost the club’s defensive options.

Fraser, 28, has played for the Swans before, albeit briefly. He made seven appearances for the club joining in November 2017. He’s also played for the likes of Pickering Town, Bridlington Town and at a higher level at Tadcaster Albion.

He’s made 21 appearances for Brigg Town this season, contributing five goals to the side. With the departure of Taron Hare, Fraser’s arrival bolsters the Swans defence, which has only conceded ten times in the league this season.

Fraser comes with plenty of experience of this level of football and is an excellent presence at the back.

He should be in the squad to face Hallam at the weekend as his NCEL registration has been completed.

Welcome back to Barton Town, Fraser!
