Excellent game management from our Under 8’s at Broughton

The Under 8’s travelled to Broughton on Saturday for what was their penultimate league fixture of the season. A slow start by this team’s standards which was not helped with a poor surface.

The players kicked into gear though and with a fantastic free kick delivered by Jac Roberts into the top corner got us rocking and rolling. The players came alive and made easy work of the task. Composed in defence and creativity in attack, especially on the right wing where Oakley Todd really started to cause problems with his runs. 

In general a muddling game but one that the players managed perfectly. Now onto our last fixture of the campaign but we have to wait until the 15th April for before playing this. 

Saturday’s MoM was Jac Roberts, worked hard, pressed hard and delivered a perfect free kick into the top corner. Parents MoM went to Cole Woodford, the cat pulled off a couple of top shot stops through the game. Well done boys
