Swans sign Clark Greaves for 23/24 season
6th June 2023Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Clark Greaves from Staveley Miners Welfare for the 2023/24 season.
A pacey right back who can also play at centre half, Clark comes to the club highly rated. He won both the Managers’ and Fans’ player of the year at Staveley last season, having made 32 appearances for the club.
Clark has previously played for the likes of Stocksbridge Park Steels and Maltby Main, but is now with the Swans for the forthcoming season.
Swans boss Nathan Jarman commented on Clark’s signing, saying: “We are delighted to bring Clark to the club. He’s a big, strong, athletic defender who wants to progress and move up the football pyramid, just like we do.
“Hopefully we’ll achieve this together. He’s got a good pedigree and experience of playing higher up. He will give us strength, pace and even an eye for goal too.”
