Barton Town are delighted to announce that Nathan Hotte has committed to the Swans for the 2023/24 season.

Hotte, an experienced and integral member of the side, will remain with the club, and will continue in his role as club captain too.

A centre half who can also play centre midfield, Nathan has a wealth of experience, having previously played for North Ferriby United, Halifax Town, Alfreton Town, and most recently, Bridlington Town just to name a few. He was also at Hull City as a youngster.

His presence in the side brings a sense of calm, as he leads by example and will be an important part of the side for the forthcoming season. Nathan made 32 appearances last season, scoring once, the winner in our 4-3 comeback win against Thackley.

Nathan commented on coming back to the Swans: “I’m really looking forward to the new season, and looking forward to helping the team to try get where the club deserves to be. It will be a really tough league this year, but the minimum we’re expecting is top 5. Hopefully we can get as many fans through the gate to give us that extra push. Up the Swans.”

Swans Assistant Danny North was happy to retain our Captain: “Delighted to get our captain sorted. A massive player for us and a proper leader. The lads look up to him and how he conducts himself. We’re a better team when he’s in it.”

Welcome back to the Swans, Nathan!
