Elliott Vasalo joins the Swans for the 2023/24 season
18th July 2023Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Elliott Vasalo for the 2023/24 season. The winger joins the Swans ready to hit the ground running.
Some Swans fans may remember Elliott who had a brief spell with the club in the 2021/22 season before signing on for last season. However a nasty knee injury meant he didn’t feature for the club last season. Having recovered, Elliott is ready to show Swans fans what he can do.
He made nine appearances for the Swans previously and has played for the likes of Winterton Rangers and Gainsborough Trinity having started his career with Sheffield Wednesday.
Swans boss Nathan Jarman commented on Elliott’s arrival: “Ell has been really unlucky with injuries. He’s now back fighting fit and we are looking forward to him being with us exclusively. He’s got pace, trickery, great work ethic and he can also score goals. Another attacking option for us and he’s looked really sharp in pre-season”
