Academy appoint Stuart Ainsley as Development Squad Manager

Barton Town would like to announce Stuart Ainsley has accepted the role to become our new U18’s Development Team Manager.

Stuart joins with a host of footballing experience from starting out as a Hull City apprentice to playing for Brigg Town in their Unibond league campaigns and onto Barton Town to name a few. Lately Stuart has been involved with youth football at Hessle Rangers which included creating a successful Junior Premier League side.

Head of Academy Paul Roberts said: “It is great news we have been able to secure Stuart into this role, together with his experience and the support of the Academy we aim to provide development and a flow of local talent into our reserves and 1st team.

“The U18’s are the Academies most senior team and such an important part to play in the clubs development infrastructure as we bridge that gap carefully and at the right pace from youth to adult football. Looking forward to working with Stuart on our journey together.”
