Swans appoint Chief Scout
13th January 2020The Swans are delighted to confirm that Ryan Hopkinson has been officially appointed as Chief Scout for Barton Town.
Craig Denton confirmed the appointment today after Ryan accepted the role and joins up with the previous Worksop Town manager. Ryan was made assistant under 21’s manager with the tigers while Denton was at the helm.
Ryan will continue to fulfil his other football responsibilities and commitments away from Barton Town.
He will head up all first team scouting responsibilities of games and will support player recruitment.
Denton said of Ryan’s appointment: “I’m really excited that Ryan has accepted the role of Chief Scout at Barton Town FC. Ryan is someone who I have worked with previously and I’m super excited he’s accepted the role. Ryan is well connected and has a real eye for detail, his professionalism and hard work will be a perfect match for us, we welcome Ryan and his family to the Swans”
