Barton Town presents – Kevin Keegan Sportsman’s Dinner

10th February 2020 Off By bartontown

Following the great success of last year’s Sportsman’s Dinner, our fourth, with Mark Lawrenson, Barton Town FC are very pleased to confirm we will be holding our next dinner, kindly sponsored by The One Point on Friday, 5th June 2020.

The Club is delighted to announce we have secured Liverpool and England legend, KEVIN KEEGAN as our guest speaker. It would take too long to list all of Kevin’s achievements in a wonderful career so here are just a few – European Cup Winner (with Liverpool), twice European Player of the Year (with Hamburg), played with distinction for both Southampton and Newcastle United, manager of England, Newcastle United and Manchester City…the word ‘legend’ barely does him justice!

In addition, we have the very funny comedian, JOHN (son of Nobby) STILES. If you really want to see just how funny John is, take a look on YouTube!

As Master of Ceremonies, JERRY EARL will once again be hosting the night’s proceedings.

In addition to two marvellous speakers, there will be a superb three course meal followed by tea and coffee.

At the start of the evening’s entertainment, expect the usual fun and games to get everybody into the party spirit, along with a raffle and auction of sporting memorabilia after the meal.

Please come along, have a memorable night out and support your local community club into the bargain!
