Club Statement – Thank You
27th March 2020Following the confirmation from the FA that our season is to end and effectively be expunged from record, Barton Town Football Club would like to thank you.
Despite it not going down in history as an official season, an awful lot of effort still went into the 2019/20 campaign. That goes from the boardroom down to each and every club under the Barton Town banner.
Thank you to the committee, for all their hard work in keeping the club not only afloat, but thriving. Attendances at the Easy Buy Stadium saw another increase. This season saw a 16% rise on last season, with an average of 158, making us the fifth best supported club in the league.
Thank you to the management of each and every side. Your tireless work day and night to ensure we have four competitive teams has not gone unnoticed. We may not get to complete the season but the work done this season will amount to something in the long run.
Thank you to all the matchday staff and volunteers we have. We are proud of our staff and the hospitality we provide to other clubs, officials, and opposing fans. Thank you for ensuring the Easy Buy Stadium always looked impeccable.
Thank you to all the players, who always put in 100% effort while wearing the shirt. We appreciate each and every player who pulls on the sky blue of Barton and we thank you for your efforts in 2019/20.
Thank you to all the kind sponsors who have helped us out with their kind offers and sponsorship throughout the season. Your generosity is appreciated by everyone within the club.
Finally, thank you to the fans and supporters of this club. The aforementioned attendance increase is largely down to them also. They are the reason we can continue to prosper and we hope that everyone who attended the Easy Buy this season has enjoyed their stay.
We will be back, hopefully sooner rather than later, and when we do, we will do everything we can to ensure the work done this season wasn’t in vain. That football in Barton continues to grow and thrive.
We look forward to getting back to kicking a ball around soon, and wish all clubs the best of luck in pulling through this pandemic.
