Brand New AP Robinson & Co Sports Bar Unveiled

On Tuesday night the brand new revamped AP Robinson Sports Bar was unveiled. After months of hard work, the new and improved bar is now open.

The bar refurbishment is the latest in a line of renovations undertaken by the club in recent years. Work has been done on the pitch, the kitchen, and the changing room in the past couple of years. Thanks to the hard work of some incredible people, we now have a bar which matches our ambitions.

Swans Chairman Mark Gregory has had the idea for a bar refit for a long time now. “When I first came to the club, one of my visions for off the field was getting a new bar fitted. Now thanks to everyone’s hard work and effort off the pitch, that vision has become reality. I’d just like to thank every single person who worked hard to get this done for us, we appreciate all their support and we hope that supporters like the new bar.”

There’s a whole host of people to thank for their efforts, firstly Mick Jordan Construction for physically building the bar and for doing a brilliant job. Next is club groundsman, coach, and former player Ian Durnian, whose small building projects around the stadium have helped to keep the club looking fantastic.

Next, we’d like to thank the FA and the government for a small grant which helped us get the funds to make this refit possible. Also of course our bar sponsors AP Robinson, for their continued support, and we hope they are proud to have their name up on our new bar.

We have worked hard to ensure the new bar is used safely in the current climate. There are social distancing measures in place, so please do your best to adhere to these while visiting the ground.

Why not come down and get a taste of non-league action with our next home game coming on Saturday against Knaresborough Town.
