Swans Under 15’s lose to Marshalls Sports Warriors

12th October 2020 Off By bartontown

Looking to improve on last week’s 12-0 defeat we set up more defensive but found ourselves 1-0 down after 5 minutes, not the start we needed.

We did come into the game after this and looked the better side and made it 1-1 with a 25 yard effort from Joe that found the top corner.

We continued to push forward but just didn’t have that finishing touch. With 5 minutes to go our defender lost concentration and allowed Warriors an open goal to make it 2-1 going into the break

We started the 2nd half looking for an equaliser and we were so unlucky, Connor beat a defender cutting in with a vicious shot that rebounded off the post and Joe with the follow up hit the cross bar so unlucky.

Running out of ideas Warriors scored two deflected goals nothing the keeper could do but summed up our season so far

A better performance than last week but still room to improve, the squad is short of 3-4 experienced players to give us a good balance but all the advertising do hasn’t been successful up to now Next week see us travel to Brigg Town Juniors
