11th March 2022The Reserves are back on home soil for the first time since January when we welcome Skegness Town Reserves to the Easy Buy Stadium.
Stefan Wolkowski’s side are on a fine run of form, winning five of their last seven games, while Skegness have won three of their last seven.

There’s been a small injury crisis within the Reserves camp this season. Captain Tad Dixon and Cole Page are two long term injuries, but Wolkowski can welcome back Kai Thomas and Daniel Own to his squad. Thomas is in line to make his home debut for the Swans.
Brad Needham also returns to the squad following a ban. Jack Dunn is missing so Samir Own will don the gloves in goal.
He will however be without his two leading scorers as Joel Chapman and Jacob Sweeting are travelling with the first team.

Declan Johnson is Skegness’ danger man, with eight goals from 24 appearances. They sit two places below the Swans in 13th, three points behind with one more game played. The Reserves can’t climb higher than the 11th spot they occupy, but can keep the pressure on Nettleham in the top ten.
Quotes
“‘Saturday we come up against a side who have really taken to this league, probably more than any other team and recent form proves that. We have to be at our best, it’s a huge chance to keep this fantastic form going and we are in a good place to do so right now. Back home as well, it feels like forever since we have played at The Easy Buy and I know the lads are buzzing to finally play in-front of our fans again.”
