29th April 2022 Off By bartontown

The Swans Reserves are heading into this weekend’s Challenge Cup semi-final knowing a win would take them one step closer to silverware.

Stefan Wolkowski’s side are taking a trip to Louth Town, the second meeting between the two sides in under a week following our home win in midweek.

Form

Both sides go into the game with exactly the same form from the last five games. Two wins, two losses and a draw for both sides in all competitions. The Swans boast wins over Grantham and Louth, while victories over Skegness and Nunsthorpe for high-flying Louth.

Team News

The Swans are likely to field a similar side to the one which defeated Louth in midweek. There’s no fresh injury concerns for Stefan Wolkowski to deal with. Matt Clayton could be in contention following the end of his college commitments.

Quotes

‘We have a chance to make history for the club, just like Nathan & the 1st team lads. We visit the toughest place to get anything from so if we’ve ever needed that little extra from everyone, it’s Saturday. Rest assured, the fans who travel will see every player wear that badge with pride for the biggest game of the season.”
