Swans sign Adam Porritt

Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Adam Porritt, who joins from Pontefract Collieries.

Adam, 24, is a right back who can also play on the right side of midfield. He was dual registered with NCEL Division One side Selby Town, but now joins the Swans.

The Swans were in need of another right back following Taron Hare’s decision to take a break from football after 83 appearances and three years at the club. Nathan Jarman moved fast to secure Adam’s signature and he will boost the club’s defensive options.

Having began his career in Huddersfield Town’s Academy, he joined Harrogate Town in 2017. Since then he’s played for the likes of Ossett Albion, Farsley Celtic, Tadcaster Albion, Liversedge and Pontefract Collieries.
