After a win last week the team was hopeful of another win against Broughton at home on a wet and cold day, Broughton are a team who have beaten us in the past.

As the first half kicked off we hit the ground running for about 15 minutes we were playing the best football we have seen all season, from Joseph in goal all the way through the team we were playing very well.

We created six chances in all, Harvey was in whisker of scoring his first goal for the team if it was not for the goal post, other chances fell to Oscar and Kyle, luckily Oscar scored one goal and Kyle scored two more.

We went into half time with a good lead and looking confident.

As the second half kicked off Broughton raised their level as ours dropped a bit, we still created chances from Oscar, Harvey, Kyle and Harry.

Unfortunately Broughton scored two goals this half to give us a nail biting end to the match Tomis and Josh were working very hard in defence to keep us in the lead, we were soaking up a lot of pressure and we gave a penalty away towards the end of the half, fortunately their striker hit the post and joseph saved the rebound.

So a good result and with the football we played in the first half it shows how good we can be if we can play like that for a full 50 minutes.

We go again next week in a very tough match.

Parents player went to Josh, Player player went to Joseph and the managers player went to Harvey.
