Under 8’s

Saturday morning saw our U8 team welcoming Brigg Town to Baysgarth. The team made light work of the task, but in doing so showed fantastic concentration, skill, game control and all played out with a good tempo which is one thing we challenged them to increase during the pre match talk.

Some lovely passing, creating options and generally working hard for each other to create and dispatch the opportunities. Another very pleasing mornings work as we go into our final two league matches of the season starting with Scotter at home next Saturday.

Our match hero’s were;  Eli Crosby Parents MoM, Eli has fought back well after finding a slight dip in confidence at training, he’s come out flying, shown bags of determination and we have seen the Eli we all know and love, another clean sheet Skipper!!.

Managers MoM goes to Charlie Burton with his serious looking smile, playing with confidence and skill and pushing himself out of his comfort zone by playing up the left wing and showing much composure and consistency to beat his man and create opportunities…and he bags himself another, getting a real taste for the goals now.. Well done boys 🦢

Saturday Squad; Cole Woodford (GK), Eli Crosby (C), Charlie Burton ⚽️, Oakley Todd, Cole Foster ⚽️, Lilah Cox, Jac Roberts ⚽️, Noah Richardson.

Under 9’s

The 9’s travelled to Humberston on Sunday, after a blistering 1st half, where the football on show was brilliant, quick passing, movement and creativity from the young swans. Humberston came back at us in the 2nd half which was overall much more evenly matched. A great game of football one that we can take many positives from going into our final few games.

Todays Man of the Match Tommy Cox, boy did our very own TC1 play well today donning a new pair of gloves!, some absolutely banging saves, I mean two of them he clawed it out the top corner… really really well done Tommy you’ve had a fantastic match.

For those not privileged to see or missed this.. I want to share the video below ,some free kick from our no.9 this afternoon, just when his team needed it. Well done Kian.

Sundays Squad; Tommy Cox (GK) Seb Eggleton, Harry Hatcliffe ⚽️, Buddy Hillary, Oakley Deakins ⚽️, Kian Lally ⚽️, Jac Roberts ⚽️, Alfie Goodley, Olly Brown, Jacob Thompson.
