Reserves begin season with draw at Grimsby United

Barton Town Reserves began their Lincs League campaign with a 3-3 draw against Grimsby United, the side formerly known as Nunsthorpe.

Lee Thompson’s first full season in charge of the Reserves began with a fair share of the points with Josh Goodman and Radu Valeanu both scoring within the first 20 minutes. With the game locked at 2-2, Wes Naulls scored midway through the second half before Grimsby United scored a third to secure a draw for the Swans.
