Sanaritans extend club sponsorship deal

Barton Town are delighted to announce that Scunthorpe Samaritans have kindly extended their sponsorship deal with the club.

The Scunthorpe branch of the mental health charity have been sponsors of the club since 2019, as a title sponsor of our Reserves side. This is a partnership that has lasted four years, and the club are delighted that it will continue into the future.

They have a pitchside board in our stadium, and were the proud back of polo shirt sponsors for our Reserves side. Now they also have a board in our car park proudly on show when supporters arrive at the ground to provide a timely reminder that you are not alone.

At Barton Town we take mental health seriously, and want to do all we can to show that there is help out there if you are struggling. You don’t have to suffer alone, football offers an escape for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. A few hours to forget about worries and anxieties. Mental health does not discriminate, and can affect anyone, so be sure to check up on your friends, or reach out if you are in need of help.

With this in mind we are so very proud of our relationship with Samaritans, and want to help in any way we can to further their cause.

If you would like any more information on Samaritans and the incredible work they do, then please head to their website. If you are struggling, then please call 116 123 free from any phone, or email them at jo@samaritans.org.

We are so very thankful to Samaritans Scunthorpe for their sponsorship and support, and are delighted for our club to be associated with them.
