Player Retained – Taron Hare
8th July 2022The Swans are delighted to announce that Taron Hare will be back with the Swans for the 2022/23 season.
Joining the Swans in 2019, Taron has been a key part of the side ever since. He’s made 65 appearances for the club and scored twice. Including a remarkable solo effort against AFC Mansfield in December 2019. Taron has been club captain for the last two seasons, and captained the Swans to their first trophy in 16 years in May with the NCEL League Cup win.
A no nonsense defender, Taron can play centre half or right back, and is a former Scunthorpe United Academy product. He played for North Ferriby United in the Conference and has been a mainstay at Barton since he arrived.
