New Signing – Chris Spinks
15th July 2022Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Chris Spinks for the 2022/23 season.
The striker joins the Swans and has an illustrious scoring record on the other side of the Humber. Chris made his name at Hall Road Rangers and Westella & Willerby, scoring goals for fun in the NCEL.
He’s played for a host of clubs, including Barton, scoring four goals in a brief spell way back in the 2008/09 season.
Since then Chris has played for the likes of Hall Road Rangers, Westella, and a brief stint at Hull United. He’s also previously been with Hull City and had a stint in the USA.

While not a complete record of his goalscoring, the above is testament to Chris’ ability, and adds some sharpness up front alongside Ben Hinchliffe, Harrison Coley, Kian Salter and Dan Trott.
He made an appearance in our pre-season friendly at Appleby Frodingham and now signs on for the 2022/23 season.
With the arrivals of Nathan Hotte, Trott, and now Spinks, Nathan Jarman’s side now has an exciting mix of youth and vital experience.
