A hugely depleted squad again for this match with three calling off sick the evening before and the morning of the match joined long term injuries Harvey and Dylan. Leaving us with 12 warriors in a match which was partly ruined by high winds and a very biased parent refereeing for them.

Again in a first half we generally dominated without really testing their goalkeeper apart from a lovely solo run by Leo Braddish who confidently rounded their goal keeper to put us 1-0 up which is how it stayed at half time thanks to a superb one handed save by Leo’s brother Euan to deny them a certain goal.

The second half they turned up and played a bit and at times bullied us with some reckless tackling that went unpunished including 2 very strong penalty appeals. Tempers started to fray and one of their players even threw a punch that thankfully missed Alfie that also went unpunished.

The Gunness equaliser came from a mistake from our goalkeeper Euan who handled just outside the box which they scored from the resulting free kick.

The game ended 1-1 with tempers not good. Extra time started and their winner came from a corner. Our goalkeeper was jumped at and the ball went in typically refereed the goal stood.
