Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Jack McMenemy from Bottesford Town, pending NCEL confirmation.

The prolific striker joins the Swans to bolster our attacking ranks. He has scored 13 goals so far for Bottesford as well as having a spell at Frickley Athletic, and joins Barton for the second half of the season.

He scored 28 goals last season in a fantastic campaign for Bottesford, including a goal against the Swans in April at the Easy Buy Stadium.

Swans boss Craig Denton was pleased to finally sign Jack after a long time of trying.

“I’ve tried time after time getting Jack in with me, and that’s not just at Barton but previous clubs too.

“He’s a talented player with bags of experience and scores goals, he will fit perfectly into our group. With the likes of Waide, Danny North and Ben Hinchliffe, the addition of Jack will seriously make a statement of intent from the football club.

“I’m going to work really hard along with my backroom team to improve Jack and make him a real outstanding player for us. He’s got the hunger and ambition to strive on to the next level.

“We welcome Jack, his family, and friends to the Swans family.”
