Swans sign Jack Turnbull

Barton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Turnbull from Lincoln United.

With the Swans in a centre back crisis currently, manager Craig Denton has acted swiftly to bring in Jack from Lincoln. Matt Plummer, Taron Hare and Mark Gray are all on the sidelines for two weeks.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak however Jack will have to wait for his debut.

Jack, 22, is a centre back who can also play at right back. He is known to be good in the air and can make well timed tackles. He has made 29 appearances for the Whites this season and now comes to the Easy Buy Stadium.

Swans boss Craig Denton was pleased to get Jack in to ease our defensive injury issues: “We’re really happy that Jack has signed on with us.

“In regard to our current injury situation in terms of defenders, it was important that we acted quickly and recruited players. Jack’s a great addition from Lincoln United. He has a great pedigree and is a young and ambitious player who will come and add vast amounts to us.

“I’m really happy that we’ve been able to agree a deal.”

Welcome to the Swans Jack!
