Reserves in Preparation for Season Ahead

Reserves in Preparation for Season Ahead

13th July 2021 Off By bartontown

Preparations are well underway for the Reserves as they look to embark on a bright new challenge for the 2021/22 season.

Their first pre-season friendly is on Thursday night against Keelby United in the Lea Charity Cup. Swans Reserves Manager Liam Graham has had the players in training for two weeks now and the new-look squad will be raring to go.

The Swans Reserves finished last season eighth in the Humber Premier League, a fine achievement considering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the season. Each team played each other once in a shortened, 15 game campaign.

Graham’s side were unlucky in some games, conceding last minute goals which were often the difference between points and going home empty handed.

Make sure you come down to the Easy Buy Stadium on Thursday to support the Reserves, it is as always FREE entry, with donations to charity on the night always welcome.
