Match Preview – Thackley (League Cup QF)
29th March 2022The Swans are looking to make it third time lucky against Thackley in the NCEL League Cup as the two sides meet at the Easy Buy Stadium.
Thackley have twice knocked out the Swans in the cup. In 2012 they defeated Barton in the semi-final while a year later they won knocking us out in the third round. Incredibly both times Thackley went on to win the cup.
However the Swans have done the double over Thackley in the league this season. Winning 6-4 at Dennyfield and 2-1 at the Easy Buy Stadium just last week.

Thackley have won two of their last five, as have the Swans. This is potentially Thackley’s penultimate game of the season while Barton have another five.
