Reserves sign Patrick Shaw for 2022/23 season
25th July 2022Barton Town Reserves are pleased to welcome Patrick Shaw to the Easy Buy Stadium for the 2022/23 season.
The experienced goalkeeper joins Stefan Wolkowski’s side for the new campaign, replacing Jack Dunn, who’s taking a break from football.
A goalkeeper with plenty of experience under his belt in the NCEL and Lincs League, Patrick is an excellent addition to the Swans Reserves side.
Reserves boss Wolkowski commented on Patrick’s arrival: “Paddy is a seasoned pro at Lincs League level, with experience in the leagues above also. We had an opportunity for the right ‘keeper to come in, make his mark and to work alongside Oscar and the other ‘keepers at the club.
“He’s done that, he’s shown he wants that jersey and it’s down to him now to keep it.
“I’ve seen Paddy play for many years and he never gives in, will put his body where other ‘keepers won’t and he’s a decent lad to add to all that. We are delighted to have signed him and look forward to himself and Oscar building towards a big season.”
